We walk our neighborhood constantly. We like the exercise, it saves gas when taking the kids to school and it keeps us out with our neighbors and area.
A few weeks ago we were walking the Green Belt here at the Oak Valley Greens and heard something in the bushes. When we past we glanced back and were very surprised to see a large bobcat staring back at us. We were about five feet from him, but he was unfazed. He didn't care one bit we were there. He just wanted to scratch together a bed of pine needles and lay down.
As much fun and excitement that was, we moved on with our day. But later that week we were driving down Oak View Drive with the kids, and in the exact same are saw another bobcat, or probably the same bobcat, crossing the road and crawling through the fence into the playground of Brookside Elementary School. Luckily school was out but we did get a quick picture of him!
