New Carlsbad Art Wall Mural in the Village August 2016

Bryan has done so much for public art in Carlsbad and the art wall is such a cool thing, now in its second year. I've talked with him a couple of times and have visited his studio - neat guy and a great artist!

Thanks, Ron and Alexandra Seigel  - it's certainly very colorful, as are the various clothing items, etc. that she markets with similar imagery

Beth Atalay  - The CAW is certainly a neat addition to the public art in Carlsbad, and it keeps changing

Nina Hollander  - it certainly fits in well, although no doubt it is not everyone's taste - it's a bit graffiti-like

Grant Schneider  - good question. Typically about 2 months but sometimes longer. It seems to depend on the artist's availability to take 2 days to paint

Belinda Spillman  - it really catches your eye driving down the street, and so different from some of the other murals. I liked the colors!

Robert Bob Gilbert  - thanks. I can't imagine being able to paint something like this on a wall, or anywhere!

George Souto  - I like that each one is quite different from the next. There have been several that really did not appeal to me but I appreciate the artistry

Hi Dianne Goode  - I really like the idea of this rotating murla wall, but I agree - alot of time and paint for a few months of glory.

Debe Maxwell  - agreed. I have to say, though, that it's not my favorite. But I loves the colors and it's neat to see driving down the main road through the Village!
