Sharing your story ....
All of us want our posts & information shared on many different platforms. Nothing wrong with being seen wherever possible.
I wanted to 'share' with you the craze that is now happening. It's basically 'see it, click it', send it'. All well & good except for a few points:
Read what you are sharing please! Be sure that what you link or send is relevant to the U.S. What you say?
Now I have to actually read everything that I am sharing? (how inconvenient!)
Yeah, I think it's a good idea because sharing real estate info from South Africa, England & a few other places is not pertinent to our country. Just because it's in English doesn't make it a good article for your area of South Carolina.
Here's a tip off - there's a slight difference in the use of some words & spelling.
Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it true or relevant again. A great example of this is when my sister was looking for legal advice (of course! on the internet) on wills & estate planning & sent me a post that she wanted me to read. Upon reading, there were some big differences in phrases & spelling. Looking closer at the bottom of the post I saw it was from the Legal Institute in the U.K. Yeah right, great info that makes no difference to me!
Maybe you've noticed other agents on social media that share the same article OVER and OVER again with the same picture & same lead lines.
Is this blitzing the market? Is it being a social media master? This is world dominance? The same group of 7 literally spamming their followers on Facebook or Google+?
Is this the new market domination? Saturating the market with the same info does not make you a market expert in your area.
It's a copy cat only it's called something else now. It's call sharing.
Just a few thoughts on the matter.
