Top Three Reasons Your Home Hasn't Sold

By
Real Estate Agent with Crye-Leike, Realtors Tupelo

Price, Location and Condition

You are in a Buyers market right now!  The reasons your home may not have sold before now are simply explained.

1.) Price!!! If your Realtor hasn't given you the proper information on the market then you may not have your home priced correctly.  Many homes will not sell because they are not listed for the correct market value. I can prepare a Market Analysis for you.  It will compare your home to at least three homes in your area that have sold and three that are currently on the market.  This gives you the knowledge of what your home is competing against.

2.) Location of your home isn't something that you can change! However it is something that your marketing can accomodate.  A professional Realtor will plan a Marketing Strategy that will give you the best publicity for your home!  Not all property is the same therefore not all property can be marketed the same.

3.) Condition...this is where you the home owner must decide , How Bad Do I Want To Sell?  A Licensed Professional Realtor will walk with you through the home and make suggestions that will help Potential Buyers see the possibilities of your home becoming their home! Todays Realtor will know what is Hot and what is Not in the current market. Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference.

The right Realtor will make all the difference!!! Work with a Realtor that will Work for You.

Hi Deborah,

Ah yes, the big three!

Typically, price and condition are what is addressed by me, when we face a lack of showings and an extended number of days on market.

Welcome to Active Rain!
