Consistent marketing results in a consistent flow of business. If marketing creates business, and one has not created any business at the commencement of their marketing program, what should the topic be for that first series of consistent blog posts? In other words, if you’ve done nothing yet, how do you get off the blocks with marketing?
Until one begins to produce, market reports consisting of simple charts and/or graphs could be the main topic. The next paragraph, after the description of the charts would be the offering of a Free Market Analysis from the agent about whom the blog post will be focused.
When one has nothing but lemons to offer, making lemonade is the most commonly suggested path to follow. The phones are certain to ring with the multitude of blog posts indexed by Google. Keep writing and submitting, and picture the “bots” searching and finding your market reports. Post on many platforms.
The “bots” find you first and then future clients find you. I’m watching it happen to those for whom I market. They have business consistently flowing their way. Every week there are multiple closings, and it’s my job to share those individual success stories with those who may be future clients of theirs. People WANT to do business with successful people, and one should never let anyone forget how successful one is.
Whether it’s a newly listed home; a newly pending sale; or a closed transaction, it’s my job to share that information. I can’t say it enough times. People like to do business with successful people, and sharing those success stories will result in a steady flow of future business.
Market like you mean it, and do not think about what competitors are thinking or saying about your marketing. The more THEY read, the more it’s to your advantage. Other agents will remember your marketing when they know they are competing with you for a listing. It’s a great “head game.” Don’t’ miss a beat with any real estate achievement, no matter how minor you think it might be. Perception Becomes Reality In The Real Estate Business.
Make it become a reality….your phone will ring….the commissions will flow….and business will multiply….and it all started with a few very simple market reports!!!
