Open House
Anyone who has ever planned an Open House knows there’s a lot of behind the scenes work that has to be done in order to make it a success. Last Sunday I worked over 5 hour putting Open House signs out before 11:00 am, was at the client's home before noon to unlock the gate, turning the lights on, opening all the drapes, etc. so that I could welcomed Bob Vaugh of D&M Mortgage to the house around 12 pm, who graciously donated a wonderful lunch for everyone.
Bob and I greeted our first guests Susie McIntyre and her friend Julie around 1:30 pm and we were continuously busy from that point on... until our last guest of the day, Bernice from Cape Coral, who left around 3:30 pm.
It's rare for me to work weekends but one thing that I like about hosting an Open House is meeting so many nice people and on top of that, today I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon in a home that was so breathtaking I didn’t want to leave.
I had 12 people pass through the gate of this lovely Alva Estate, in the rain none-the-less, to come tour this amazing home, that’s how magical this place truly is.
That tells me without a doubt this was one of the most successful Open Houses I have participating in and I hope it produces a happy new homeowner soon for this one-of-a-kind property.
