Fishhook Creek north of Wasilla south of Hatcher Pass Alaska
Fishhook Creek that runs north of the town of Wasilla Alaska is a very beautiful creek that cuts through the rock and canyon south of Hatcher Pass.
Here is a colorful photograph of Fishook Creek just before sunset and believe it or not this creek can be panned for gold. Many creeks around the mountains can be panned for gold, I have not done it myself but maybe some day.
We go to Hatcher Pass quite often when I am visiting Alaska, during the winters the mountains are covered with snow and during the spring, summer, fall months the area is very green with colors.
Every time we drive up to Hatcher Pass we always stop here for a photograph.
