I wish I had time to think of gearing up for the coming months. I'm busy with clients (for which I'm grateful) and this is also the time when the garden produce has to be dealt with. And then there's that income tax extension I filed because I ran out of time in April...
I see September as the beginning of the last Quarter of the year for me to give it my best shot to finish strong. This year has been my best year since 2009 and I'm gearing up for a strong fall/ winter season.

I was drawn to read this post as I have always used September as my reset month. I was a kid who loved school so September was/is a great month for me. It also helps that I work in a resort area. The day after Labor Day the towns are quiet and getting back to the basics of previewing homes and mailings are big on my To Do list.
I'm looking forward to September as the weather cools down. The calendar year is getting a bit confusing. I see advertising on tv for Christmas in the summer, now I see Halloween in the stores (which isn't too far off) and now we have January in September. Maybe we can just stick to our one favorite and best month of the year and have that for twelve months. And your right, this is a great time to plan for the rest of the year!
