Last year on November 1st, I started what began as a thankful month challenge to post something that I was thankful for each day on Facebook. At the end of November, I still had more to share. And now, after over 300 days, I am amazed that I have never been stumped for something to say. In fact, I have several in my mind when I wake up each morning and I have to choose which one to post.
I start my day with my thankful post. Every. Day. And it creates a happy mindset for me. It has become a habit that I will continue for a very long time. I received a message recently from a past client that "likes" my posts every day. Although she doesn't post herself, reading my posts creates a time for her to reflect herself on what she is thankful for every day.
How often do we have a bad day and think everything is horrible? My worst day is still better than some people's best day. Think about that for a minute. If you are not grateful for all the things that you have, think about the homeless or the people that don't have electricity or running water. In comparison, our problems seem very small.
In in real estate, and in my life, I have found that what I focus on truly does expand. There is still plenty of time left to buy a home in 2016 and the interest rates are truly remarkable! When I think about my business, success brings more success. Especially when I focus on helping others achieve their goals. I am looking forward to fall and all that the rest of 2016 has to offer. How about you?
