Disappointment starting to set in

Well I'm all set for the seminar I am sponsoring.  I've got the conference room at the local Holiday Inn booked.  The menu for the catered lunch is set, waiting until the 12th to give them the final head count.  2 advertisements have been run in the local newspaper with one more to run next week.  Special invitations have been mailed to all homeowners who have either canceled or expired and not re-listed.  I have also included an invitation to my farm with my monthly newsletter.  As I said all is running smoothly, except for one thing.  I have not had a single person RSVP, not one.  Their options to RSVP are either call me directly or go to a web page I have set up.

This is frustrating to the extreme.  I was not expecting to be over run by people, but I did figure I could probably pull in 10-12.  Well we'll see I have until the 12th before I need to give a tally.

Wish me luck y'all.

Good luck. We recently had a sellers seminar and got a full house.

This is a great idea.  I hope you get a bunch.  Maybe send a reminder and you'll get some.

How about a coupon or gift certificate  for something or the other for bringing a friend? Condition it so they have to RSVP to collect?  I hope you have an email list? This would be an easy way to send this offer to "special" people...anyone who has given their email address to you must be special, right?

How about calling some of these people and leaving messages? If you sent things out too early they may need a reminder a day or two ahead of time and asking for a RSVP would do just that.

Good luck! I hope it turns out great for you.

Thanks everyone.  I'm keeping my chin up, as the saying goes.  It sure helps to know there are folks out there to lean on for support.  I will keep you all updated as things get closer.  Light a candle for me, for those of you that understand that phrase.

Thanks Brett
