Parker, Colorado: Library Grand Opening 2016
On August 31st, the Parker Library closed in preparation for the big move to the new location across from Town Hall. The new building will be ready for it's official "unvailing" and Grand Opening in a few weeks. What's planned for the celebration? The day will begin at 9:00 am.

You can be a part of Parker history! Sign up to be part of the human bookworm that will move books from the old library to the new library, 0.8 mile. To register, visit the "Were Moving" page of the Douglas County Libraries (DCL) website or call 303.791.7323. All ages are welcome. The bookworm will begin at 9:00 am.
The official Grand Opening will be at 11:00 am. Opening ceremonies will include remarks from DCL's Executive Director Bob Pasicznyuk, Branch Manager Amy Long and Town of Parker Mayor Mike Waid. There will also be a dedication to the Kime family and a few other surprises!
