As I like to remind my clients, "your home is a living and breathing entity and you need to take care of it on a consistent basis to keep it in tip top shape." It's also worth pointing out that when you neglect home maintenance, the ultimate cost to fix or repair problems can be much greater than maintaining on an ongoing basis.
An easy way to stay on top of all the tasks involved in maintaining your home is to have an annual schedule and check list, like the one pictured below. This schedule provides reminders about monthly, seasonal and annual maintenance... easy to follow and easy to do.
