Should seller's get Pre-listing Inspections?

i just thought I would get a national view on what agents recommend to their sellers reference inspections prior to a listing going live in MLS. I can see advantages and disadvantages so I thought I would get some active rain users thoughts on the subject.

Have had several selling clients have a pre-list inspection completed recently and it was a wise decision. Found several items they had overlooked for years and items they didn't know existed. Worth the money invested to sell for fair market value. A couple of the buyers involved did have their own inspection completed which they felt was money they could have used for something else in the transaction. Now I recommend it to every selling client.
