What Makes You Happy?
If you've been reading my blog the last few weeks you know I've been spending some time on Pinterest. I recently came across a list that piqued my curiosity, 20 FREE Things to do to Make You Happy. Here are my top FIVE favorites.
Take a Hike
I find that going for a walk with someone, or by myself is refreshing. It's a great opportunity to clear my head. I always feel somewhat "lighter" after a walk (I don't hike!).
Watch a Movie
I love watching movie marathons on tv with my hubby. We get some snacks and get comfortable on the loveseat. The Godfather triology is a favorite. We also enjoy the Jason Bourne and Bond movies!
Do Some Gardening
In the Spring there's nothing like sticking your hands in the dirt and planting some flowers. Making floral arrangements is a wonderful distraction to the stresses of work and life.
Learn a New Recipe
Last year I learned how to make toffee. Not sure what it will be this year.
Volunteer Somewhere
Spending time focused on others and bringing joy to them always makes me happy!
