Horsey Wordless Wednesday - An Itch That's Hard To Scratch

Horsey Wordless Wednesday - A Hard to Reach Itch

This week's photo is not about a horse, but close.  This photo is on one of the goat's that grazes with the horses out in the pastures on the farm.  His name is Leroy.  He was named after the song "Bad Leroy Brown" and it fits him to a tee.  He is almost always the one getting into trouble.  Leroy has horns and it seems that it always itches between them.  It is very difficult to scratch between the horns, therefore, he is always looking for someone or someway to have the itches scratched.  If you want to befriend him, just scratch between the horns and he'll be your friend for life.  (Of course, treats help, too.)   You must admit, Leroy comes up with creative solutions to get that itch.

Harry,

In Leroy's case it would be "between the horn" scratchers.

"Leroy" - What a great name for a goat!  I have a daughter, who is really fond of goats!  I don't exactly know why!

Sandy & Norm,

Leroy and the other goat are more attached to the horses than the other way around.  When the goats are in the stall, and they see the horses head out into the pasture without them, they start screaming on the top of their lungs.

Good Saturday morning Brigita McKelvie -

I'm so thankful I'm a two-legged critter rather than four.  Makes it much easier to scratch that itch.

Good morning, John!

I have to agree with you on that, especially when the itch is between the horns.
