This neighborhood of custom homes is just down the road from Skyway, though many – even Realtors – don’t know it exists. Not all of the houses in the neighborhood are midcentury, but there are a handful of really amazing homes. All over town
There are mid-century modern homes spread throughout the city here and there. Quite a few beautiful ones are in the Old North End near downtown.
While we typically think of mid-century modern homes as luxurious custom-built oasis of at least 2,000 square feet, builders were incorporating many of those attributes into production homes in the 1950s and ‘60s as well. And those houses are sprinkled throughout the central part of Colorado Springs.
