As anyone can tell you cancer unfortunately may affect all of us either directly or indirectly at one time or another. It's hard to determine how and where to help... there are so many different groups and causes you can join to feel you have done your part however small to make a difference. One such cause that comes to mind is the Light The Night Walk we hear so much about lately.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk Burlington VT funds lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer. This annual event will take place Friday September 30th 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friends, Families and co-workers form fundraising teams and these efforts culminate in an inspirational, memorable evening event. During this leisurely walk, participants carry illuminated balloons- white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. You can register to walk individually or as part of a team.
By raising $100 or more you become a Champion of Cures to help support the work of hundreds of the world's best and brightest researchers in their search for better therapies and cures for cancer.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk exists to find cures and ensure access to the best available treatments for all blood cancer patients.
