IN BLOOM FLOWERS - MY FAVORITE FLORIST

SHOP LOCAL

My favorite florist in town is IN BLOOM FLOWERS, www.inbloomflowers.com. They have 6 locations in North TX.

What I like best is their creativity and sensitivity to the customer's needs. For example, I once had a client who is the owner of a Graphics Art Center. I simply explained it couldn't be anything ordinary - it had to be extraordinary, exotic but not chaotic. Something soothing and sensational. The designer closed the book and started bringing me flowers from all four corners of the shop, front and center, and even behind the scenes, not open to the public. We talked. We laughed. I expressed my ideas and she used her imagination. The bouquet turned out to be a work of art. And my client was very surprised and pleased.

Recently, Cookie, my dear friends Greyhound crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was the sweetest dog I've ever known. During the last several years of her life, I spent a lot of time with her, including attending the annual Greyhound Adoption League Texas Birthday Party. In sympathy, I went to IN BLOOM FLOWERS and selected an array of colorful flowers and bright ribbons and had the Designer create and deliver flowers. Because Cookie liked to look out the gate where the Sunflowers bloomed, the Florist included three large sunflowers.

The owners, staff, and Designers of IN BLOOM FLOWERS are very thoughtful, kind and empathetic. I give them a five-star review. Whether it's a client's gift or feeling the urge to get creative yourself, they are filled with bright ideas and always know how to make arrangements in the most beautiful way. What I love about the following video is these are simple ideas that people can use for Staging Homes too! Whether it is flowers for yourself, a client, or helping someone to stage their home, everything good begins & ends with IN BLOOM FLOWERS.

Lise Howe - I've known Cookie since she was first adopted and babysat, literally, staying at her house while my friends traveled to keep her company and make sure her needs were taken care of. Thank you for having an empathetic heart.

It's a wonderful Florist Shop. Although I can buy flowers most any time at the Grocery Store, when it a special occasion, I let the Designers do it at the In Bloom Flowers. I really appreciate their special touch.

Patricia - I have an 11 year old standard poodle - I love my baby as the third child that he is and so I always mourn for anyone who loses their baby!

Lise Howe - In my previous Keller William Office there was an Agent who had two old Standard Poodles. She brought them to work with her every day and when she left the building with clients, her girls just made themselves at home inside the office, behind closed doors, and they were very content. I can understand why you love your "third child!"

Whenever she the Agent was gone too long, she'd take her girls out and get their nails done. It was so cute! Oh, the things we do for the ones we love! Towards the end of Cookies life, she wouldn't eat while my friends were traveling, so I bought her Canadian Bacon and made her a side of white egg yoke every morning. She loved it! Then, when it got too hot, in the triple digits, I took her outside and gave her sponge baths!

I still mourn for her...

I bring Poirot in sometimes to the office.  When I was at Coldwell Banker I brought him in to the office on the weekend when no one was there and let him wander but that wasn't a good idea because he would find the food remains in the trash can!

Lise Howe - A pet dog is not just a dog. They are hunters and don't care where  they hunt, even if it means trash cans! Plus, they can put on a face when they know they did wrong, don't they!

You are so thoughtful and kind Sheila Anderson. Every since I was a little girl, dogs have left paw prints on my heart. I know how much they mean to you too.

That is a great name for a flower shop, as the ones that are in bloom always look the best, haha.

Hi, Belinda Spillman  - The longer I'm in business for myself, the more I understand how important it is to support local business owners. Plus, I learn more by getting to know them and observing first hand what makes them successful. There's a lot to be gained by shopping local.

Roy Kelley - Before my father joined the Navy in WWII, and way before I was born, he worked at a Florist Shop. He always had fresh flowers sent to my mother to surprise her and when she was happy, we were ALL happy. I will never forget that. There's something about flowers that brings out the best in people.

I hope you have an outstanding week too!
