Thank you so much to all of you who have reached out to find out how I've been doing and see why I've fallen off the ActiveRain wagon.
When a new book really starts to take hold in my psyche, I tend to lose track of the world around me. I work hard at keeping my daytime focus on real estate, although there's not much time for anything else like blogging and commenting.
But I wanted to share how honored and excited I am to be part of the Mile High Author Event being held this weekend in Denver. There are a little more than forty authors from around the world coming together at a swanky Downtown Westin Hotel. The almost-thousand tickets to readers and fans have been sold out for a while now, so it should be an exciting book signing event.
The past two months have been spent finishing my newest novel and editing and re-editing my first five books in preparation for this Event. (I think this is what hibernation looks like.)
For those who don't know, I had never written anything until I started blogging on ActiveRain (ActiveRain Got Me My Second Job). When things got slow with real estate one year, and with the encouragement of many of you (and a kick in the pants from Brian L. Sirota, Esq.), I decided to get my feet wet.
I learned a lot of what-not-to-do with the first one (Thunder Snow), and each one just gets easier. I will publish Books 6, 7, and 8 within the next month or so.
Until the past few days, I didn't realize what a big deal this weekend is going to be, but I'm psyched, and I appreciate this community so much. Thank you!
