Frequently Asked Appraisal Questions

By
Real Estate Agent with Hollish Hill Group, JPAR Stellar Living

Around the office, and on several online real estate groups in which I participate, I've been hearing a lot of questions about appraisals. Ranging from the typical, "What do I do if the appraisal comes in low?" and the "Should we remove the appraisal contingency to be more competitive?" to the "What should I
prepare for the appraiser?" questions. While I can answer some of them. I thought it made sense to contact a trained professional who could get it to us straight.

Everything you Ever Wanted to Know About Appraisals, But Were Afriad to Ask

In my post titled "Everything You Ever Wanted to Ask
An Appraiser
" I sent several common questions to Kellie Wolfe of Picket Fence Appraisals and she wrote up some answers with supporting photos, and added a question of her own.

Take a look at the Post and Let me know what you think. I personally like the Guest Blogger style of this post and may expand it to some other areas of interest.

If you , or someone you know, is thinking about buying or selling their home in the DC Metropolitan Are, including Northern Virginia or Maryland, Give me a Call to Get Started.

Great idea to ask a professional the questions and use them as a guest blogger!
