In Real Estate and related endeavors in life something like a true vacation is hard to imagine sometimes....But, this year I might have the real deal...I have a great business partner, Joan Shields, who is covering everything for us for a week...I know she's busy but I'm determined not to 'check in'...I'm in Maine, along the coast, checking out antique shops, ocean vistas, fresh seafood and just enjoying the road trip...For those of you who've 'never been' it's a very relaxing trip, at least for us old folks...Lucy is 69 and still working full time although she could retire tomorrow but doesn't want to...I'm 67 and still plugging away selling houses for similar reasons...Our income allows us to do this without worying about costs...We just go...Anyway, today we were in a small place called Two Lights along the coast near Cape Elizabeth...Granite shoreline, walking along and I find what was once probably a mooring ring of some type probably 100 yards or so from the water...It's been there so long it's worn away a ring in the stone...I have no idea why it has 3 padlocks on it but here's a pic...Go do something like this, you deserve it.
