Silicone Slopes ... Everyone has heard of the Silicone Valley before, but have you heard of the Silicone Slopes? Well if you haven't you will. Silicone Slopes is the name for the Wasatch Front where all the tech companies have been slowly building and growing their businesses. A huge area of tech growth is down in the Lehi area but we also have businesses scattered along the Wasatch Front.
Slowly businesses from out of state have figured out that Utah is a great place to bring your company. One of the main companies people think of (because they can see if from the freeway ) is Adobe. They have built a huge facility right along the 1-15 in Lehi. It's a beautiful complex. Some other well known companies are Vivint and Ancestry.com

There are many reasons why businesses are starting to discover what Utah has to offer: The state offers generous tax breaks to companies. Utah is a very supportive climate. We have a mass transit system that runs from Ogden to Provo. We also have 5 major colleges and Universities to draw talent from. Our outdoor recreation options are amazing. Utah is also very Pro Entrepreneurs. Our demographic supports it and encourages it. Our economy can support it too with lower cost of living than most areas.
Things to do: You name it we probably have it. We have four distinct seasons and depending on what you like to do you have that as an option too? hiking, skiing, fishing, water sports, snow sports, arts, music, sporting events, concerts *to name a few options*
We have National Parks that are unique and beautiful. Utah is also home to the largest Marketing summit and outdoor retailer summit. I'm pretty sure our comic con is also at the top or pretty close.
Utah really is a great place. Downtown Salt Lake has the club scene if you want to have some drinks at the piano bar. A lot of rumors are out there about Utah.
