Get Outdoors PA Festival - Fun Event for All Ages

Bushkill Stream in Jacobsburg State Park in Nazareth, PA

A free, family event will be held this Saturday, September 24th, 2016, at Jacobsburg State Park in Nazareth, PA. It is the Get Outdoors PA Festival, being held to celebrate National Public Lands Day, National Hunting & Fishing Day, and National Bike to Park Day. It is the perfect day for the family to get together and have fun enjoying the outdoors and the many outdoor activities.

The activities will include, fishing, archery, live animal presentations, a nature walk, Get Your Tail on the Trail hike, a visit from Smokey the Bear, Della the Mule, and Woodsy the Owl. There will also be a stream study in the Bushkill Stream to find the various creatures that live there.

The event will be held at the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center at 400 Belfast Road in Nazareth, PA, from noon until 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 24th, 2016.

Come on out and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends and learn about the conservation and recreation groups that help make the Lehigh Valley a great place!

I visit Jacobsburg State Park quite often, for hiking and horseback riding. It is definitely a beautiful place as well as relaxing. It is so nice to be out with nature. You are right about the Eagles fans.
