There have been very few new listings since last month. The only price range that has a good amount of new sellers is the $400-600k range where 12 homes have gone under contract and 16 have been listed. But with all that activity, even with an average market time of 101 days, these homes are still only seeing 1.7 month's of inventory. The West Loop needs more sellers! Buyers are ready to move to the neighborhood, they just need a home to choose! The median sales price for condos was $403,000.

Housing Type: Townhome

It almost looks like townhomes are selling out in the West Loop. There is such a small amount of inventory that in some price ranges it's under a month! As long as there are more buyers looking for homes than there are homes available prices will continue to climb. If you have been holding off on selling your townhome because you want to get more than you paid for it this might be the right time to consider it. The median sales price for townhomes was $700,000.

There have been no major changes among the single family homes. The one that has been for sale expired and was promptly relisted.
