Managed to get a 5-day cold in the change of weather. In Chicagoland today and it is a beautiful Fall day - perfect Football Game weather. So nice that the Green Bay Packers beat the Detroit Lions. Makes up in a small way when growing up as a kid and the Packers played 'away' each Thanksgiving Day - in Detroit.
According to the records, 1951 began a Packers-Lions 13-season run as perpetual Thanksgiving Day opponents - not to end until the late Green Bay Championship coach, Vince Lombardi fought to put an end to this following the 1963 game. Honest to God, John, we had so many depressing Thanksgiving Day games. Hahahaha ~ Hope you had a nice day.
