I shot this one on the fly after spending several hours on Grand Mesa showing cabins. I was tired and still had to go to the office to do some work, so I didn't put much effort into the picture, but I couldn't let this sunset go by.
The days are getting shorter, and I'm going to have to start remembering that when I set my showing appointments.
It was a beautiful afternoon on Grand Mesa, but the nights are getting cold. It was 48 degrees when I took this picture.
The fall colors on the Cedaredge side of the mesa are still really beautiful. It's still worth the trip up there, if you haven't already done that this fall.
