Be An Order Out Of Chaos Someone!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Dog FetchOne thing I have noticed in the real estate agent business, IT IS A MESS from the start and never lets up through the transaction. Everywhere is the unexpected and you straightening things up and keeping things flowing to a satisfactory conclusion. In real estate and in life this goes hand in hand with problem solving and more importantly--

Creating Order Out Of Chaos.

I have had my own share of being the chaos maker but you are invaluable to others when you are the one adding ORDER to things.

We see this all around us.

Caregivers helping sick customers, family members or friends. Advice and counsel to someone struggling financially, emotionally, or psychologically.  Cleaning up a home that looks like it belongs on TV with the hoarders program. Cleaning out a garage for yourself or closets or organizing photos that are real or electronic. Even sorting through clothes to throw out or donate or preparing for a yard sale.

Order is good, because it is a reset in our lives, or the lives of others. Clearing debris from a field or in farm and ranch organizing a barn or tool shed, excellent use of our time!!

We all have these phases where WE are the ones with time, energy, fortitude, even money to make this happen and we are the one hitting on eight cylinders, or at least six of eight to assist others. There will be other times hopefully with our own support network, we are the ones laid up and in the sick bed and need a cup of soup and that tender loving care from another to "get by" and heal, and as I said RESET.

WORK on being that order out of chaos person and leave that little patch of world you touch BETTER OFF than before your whirlwind self came by and encountered it. It is like gardening. You leave behind nice rows of flowers well tended and just the feeling is GREAT. The world sure can use more order in it. It just feels GOOD!!!

Hi Gary Woltal - thanks for validating the way I feel.  Even the smoothest transaction feels chaotic!  I go by "YOUR Solutions Realtor®" and this is a very simple way to describe it - "Creating order out of chaos"!

I don't function well when things are not in order.  Clutter and disarray sends me over the deep end.

Good morning Gary. What a lovely post. I really like the sentiment and the picture is wonderful.

See It. Experience It. Live It.

Great point in both life and the real estate business.

It is nice when we can walk into a situation that is chaotic and bring order.

In life in general, sometimes bringing order to a chaotic situation does require time and patience.  Those of us who like order also have to remember that some people, such as many "creatives", actually do better sometimes living in chaos.

Have a great Sunday.

Gary, my husband just wrote an EMS article about controlling chaos and being okay with it...he usually gets them published, but his ideas were too forward-thinking for the left-brain only mentality of the editor. He based much of his article on the teachings of the Tao, Eckhardt Tolle and Wayne Dyer, for example. Pretty great work, but the editor couldn't see the "being in the present moment" Power of Now thinking.  Oh, well. You would have gotten it, for sure!

Speaking of which I "got" those Intelligen pills you sent me the link for! I started yesterday. Now my mom wants some, too! Thanks for passing that along. Did you order any?
