Realtors and homeowners share the same goal – to sell their properties at the highest price and at the best possible terms allowable. Real estate, after all, is a business. The benefit of listing agreements is to provide real estate professionals with enough time to sell the properties with these goals in mind.
All parties involved need to be protected. Neither side should lose out on their investment, whether that be time, effort, expenditures, home improvements, land, and/or property. That is why listing agreements are so important and must be carefully examined before signing.
