Rock the Weekend Away

Real Estate Agent with Quantum One Realty

Looking for something fun to do this weekend AND give back to local charities such like the Kiwanis? If so, Kelsey Park in Lake Park is definitely the place to be!

The first weekend of October means it is time for Rumageddon and you'd be a fool to miss it! This weekend, on October 1st and 2nd, you can visit the South Florida Southern Rock Festival to relive your glory days and get down to some home-grown jams!

On Saturday, October 1st, from 11:00 am all the way to 7:00 pm, you can catch an awesome lineup of Southern Rockers all day long. At the end of the night, you'll be able to catch the headliners - and they know a little something about rocking, as they've been rocking since the 70's - The Marshall Tucker Band.

On Sunday, October 2nd, from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm, (just like on Saturday) enjoy a day full of exciting lineups, a variety of food, retail and merchandise vendors, the debut of the Rumageddon Rum Bucket with souvenir cup, and so much more. Ending the night, be sure to stick around for Sunday's headliner, Molly Hatchet!

How much does it cost to get down to this? Kids under 12 can also enjoy free admission - so, parents, feel free to bring the little ones and give them a dose of good music for their first weekend of October! This festival will feature the Little Rocker Kid Zone, too, with bounce houses, pirates, mermaids, slides, games, contests, so there's sure to be more than enough to wear out the little ones.

If you're a Lake Park Resident (with a valid State issued ID) you get in FREE! You heard me right - free!  If you'd like to become a Lake City resident, contact me, and I can help you find the home of your dreams in Palm Beach County!

If you're not from Lake City, FL, no worries! General Admission only costs $15 per day, or you can snag a two-day pass for only $25. Grab your tickets ahead of time and avoid the fuss by visiting the Rumageddon website

Bring the family and bring the friends - all are welcomed to this family friendly festival!

As always, stay tuned to my Facebook Page and my website, Singer Island Real Estate, to learn about fun local events and how you can call Palm Beach your home! Or, at the very least, your vacation getaway!

It sounds like fun.  Next week we have our local art festival downtown.  It is good to get into the community.
