National Night Out In Watersbend Subdivision

National Night Out is an annual community building event promoting police and neighborhoods to show support for each other.  The purpose is to unite business, neighbors and citizens of the community.  

The next National Night Out in Watersbend subdivision is Tuesday October 4th, 2016.  This event is usually in August. I believe our great state of Texas is the only state celebrating in the month of October at this time.

Different communities are celebrating in a variety of ways. Some will have more activities than others.

Facebook also has a nationwide page that you can post pictures from your activities during and after your community gathering.  

Does your neighborhood host this event?  Do you know your neighbors?  If not this is a great opportunity to get out there and make new friends.  

Watersbend subdivision in North Fort Worth is looking for volunteers for the upcoming event.  National Night Out is an excellent program supporting  promotion of safer neighborhoods.

Check with your community or contact the local police department for details about the National Night Out event in your area.  If there is not one, you have time to organize before Tuesday.
