Choosing a Real Estate School

Once you’ve made the decision to change careers, choosing a real estate school is the next step.  One would think that would be the easy part, but not so in many cases.  Real estate schools are similar to real estate agencies – they all offer the same courses, but the courses are taught differently.

 

Choosing a real estate school should be an important consideration.  As a Florida student, you will have to attend and pass a 63-hour real estate course called a pre sale class.  Even though 63 hours doesn’t appear to be a huge undertaking, that real estate school you choose can either give you great confidence or it will inflict negativity about your ability to become a real estate agent.

 

Many times TEAM Hughes is the recipient of students who have taken the 63-hr. class somewhere else.  Students come to us feeling dejected, lacking confidence, and wondering why they couldn’t pass the course.  Fortunately, we welcome them with open arms, and after assuring them that they can do it, we set about the task of restoring their confidence.  We have never had a student from another school come to us and not pass the course the first time.  The difference is easy to see:  TEAM Hughes has heart.  Each instructor takes an interest in each student.  We care that we are the first exposure our students have to the real estate industry.

 

Choosing a real estate school can be a daunting task because all schools market themselves as being wonderful.  TEAM Hughes does not do that.  We let the statistics speak for themselves, and we implore prospective students to read what other students have to say about us.  In some cases, prospective students have an opportunity to hear first-hand what former students have to say about our courses.  That makes the process easier, and we rely totally on the grace of each and every former student!

 

Choosing a real estate school does not have to be difficult.  If you are going to enter the practice of real estate and you have not yet gone through the course, I urge you to call each local real estate school and ask each one the same questions, i.e. what is your pass rate, what teaching/learning tools do you offer, and how will you be there for me after the course.  If you ask these three questions to each school representative, we know you will see a major difference in answers.

Not all real estate schools are created equal just like not all real estate agents are not created equal. There are those that really care about making a difference and go above and beyond just like you do at Team Hughes.
