Joanna, I think we've walked together by this bit of majesty, didn't we?

Hi Joanna... what a beautiful picture and a beautiful place to walk. A great way to "get away from it all" and just enjoy some quiet, alone time and nature.
Good morning Nina Hollander and Michael Jacobs and Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 and John McCormack - This is my every morning walk-an old railroad trail that parallels the Croton Reservoir-there are a few bridges to cross and it is really spectacular. I also love to bike this!

Hey there Raymond E. Camp and Debbie Gartner and Kristin Johnston, Waukesha County Realtor 414-254-6647 and Sheila Anderson - the roots of these trees are like specimens-they often feel like elephants and my imagination runs wild as I walk in the mornings!
Hey there Endre Barath, Jr. , James Dray , Maria Sapio, Dorie Dillard and Lise Howe - every region of the country has its own native trees that give it a certain feel. And of course depending upon the time of day and year, they change dramatically as well. But I love the blackness and the jaggedness and irregularity of our trees which makes this path so special.
Will miss everyone while I am away in Greece but hope to get some awesome shots to share!
Joanna,
Lovely shot, I can hear the leaves crunching under your feet...Happy Wednesday, A
Joanna, looks like you are already getting leaves on the ground! We're still mostly green, but not for long.
Hello Ron and Alexandra Seigel and Patricia Kennedy - fall is definitely in the air here-I know that when I come back from Greece (leaving tomorrow and back on the 22nd) there will be dramatic changes in the landscape. Wishing you a glorious fall Patricia and of course Ron and Alexandra as well although not so sure you get these colors in your neck of the woods!
Joanna reminds me of some of the scenery in my area. Fall is my favorite season as I love all the color and beauty it brings.
Good Morning Joanna - you are doing better than I. Unfortunately, I have not had enough exercise lately.
Good morning Rebecca Gaujot, the Go To Realtor® and Grant Schneider . There is nothing like an early morning walk every morning and autumn is absolutely the best season for that!
The tall canopy adds to a place where you can have a pleasant walk and do some thinking. It will be full of color soon.
Oh gorgeous. We just returned from a week of hiking in Colorado. Oh how I love to be out in the magnificent landscape of Nature. This looks like a wonderful trail to frequent.
Hi there Debbie Reynolds and Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I can't compete with the beauty of the Rockies but I love that I have a quiet trail, near home, to start my morning of reflection! BTW, my son just got back from Colorado and he absolutely loved Boulder-he hiked in Rocky Mountain State Park. And you?
Love that footprint in the earth from the roots planted so deeply into the earth.
I know, I love that too Patricia Feager - it feels like a hand just digging deep.
