As many of you know, I went through Tech Support Hell two weeks ago with both the provider and the web host. As professionals, you would expect that they would be the ones who would diagnose and solve my issues!
Sadly no. Many times it's the consumer who is the one who doesn't know their way around the website and coding, but I was the one who was offering recommendations and solutions and the tech support people were clueless. I know it's a thankless job, but come on people!
Anyway, I love the Monday tech support humor from Dorie Dillard!

What a fantastic week-end! Cooler weather, came to terms on repairs on one of my listings, date night with my Geno at North (one of our fav restaurants in the Domain), a great open house and somehow it got to be Monday morning! Grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and join me with some tech support humor to start your week.
Tech Support: “So you’re having issues picking up your wireless signal … how many connections are there?”
Customer: “There’s two other networks but only one bar on each … those are my bad neighbors.”
Tech Support: “So the good signal isn’t there? Hmm, your modem might be off; can we check that?”
(Tech support troubleshot that for a while before realizing the guy had never paid for internet before and didn’t own a modem.)
Tech Support: “Sir, when you said the other connections were your ‘bad neighbors…’ Did you mean that the good neighbor with the good signal isn’t there?”
Customer: “Oh, he moved?”
