National Vodka Day
It seems we have quite a few unusual "holidays" to celebrate. I just came across, National Vodka Day. It's October 4th. I have no idea why. When I googled National Vodka Day I found a great website, but they didn't have any idea either!
According to the website, there are over 100 different flavors of vodka including some savory and some sweet. I think I would like Root Beer, Espresso or Fluffed Marshmellow, but not so sure about Bacon or Smoked Salmon.
According to PartyExcuses.com, October 4th is Cinnamon Roll Day, World Animal Day, Golf Lovers Day, Toot Your Own Flute Day and National Taco Day.
I have also learned a little bit of trivia. On this day in 1976, Barbara Walters became the 1st female tv news anchor!
