I have spent the majority of my eleven years in real estate figuring out ways to maximize my online time. Whether I am networking, blogging, or prospecting, I have to be careful not to let the internet consume all of my time.
I have made mistakes, failed, succeeded, and most important, learned a lot about productivity. There are many ways to be more productive online, but these five tips have proven to be the most efficient for me.
Time management is huge and I have recently revisited the benefits of compartmentalizing or time-blocking. There are many time bandits when it comes to technology. Set a time frame to complete the tasks and move on. Thanks for the post!

Time management is so important in our business, along with self discipline. Using our time effectively is the key... I start my day by reviewing incomng emails, responding when necessary and prepare to make follow up phone calls... then I spend about 30-45 minutes on social media, scheduling posts on my FB fan page (12,500 Likes) which automatially posts to twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn... and limit my time on the internet. Once everything is set up and organized you don't have to spend much time on it...
the one area we always have to spend enough time on is engaging with our audience. This sends a message that it isn't all about us. If you master the art of engaging on social media you have a better chance of getting your posts noticed then if you set it and forget it :o)
There is a lot of trial and error to marketing online (some is very costly $$$ ) .
