Mush as in Mushroom

Mushroom

Mushroom, 7.5 inches

Some days my brain is just too full of mush to write a post so I took a photo of the mushroom my hubby found along the path to our barn.

And below is one I found in our yard this evening,

 Mushroom C

If you can read you will see that I have a hard time being wordless even on Wordless Wednesday.

I had a batch of them pop up a few weeks ago in my herb garden.  Not that big, but bunches of them.

Isn't that something.  I have had that type of mushroom growing in my lawn the last few years.  They are monstrous, but don't know if they are poisonous or not.

That is a huge mushroom!  My sister and i found a really big one as children and we picked it. It lasted many years in our home. It was huge and looked like this.

Good morning Mary.  If they are not on the grocery shelf I don't eat them.  Not confident at all in finding those one can eat or those who are harmful.  That is one big mushroom.  Come on just one more post and a few comments and you'll be the next millionaire.

Thanks James Dray working at reaching that pinacle one post, one comment at a time.

Yes, our edible mushrooms come from the grocery store as well.

I have a local Farmer's Market, which offers up mushrooms of varying varieties. I've not seen any sold that look like the one pictured.  But, you did give me an idea.  I should take one out of my yard over to that vendor, and see if they can identify it, and tell me if it is poisonous or not.

Hi Mary. I have trouble with "mush head" every once in a while. Nothing wrong with that.

I often feel the mush, too. That's why I do market reports. That way I always have something to write about, and the information is there for me in the MLS. LOL. It works.
