Mush as in Mushroom

Mushroom

Mushroom, 7.5 inches

Some days my brain is just too full of mush to write a post so I took a photo of the mushroom my hubby found along the path to our barn.

And below is one I found in our yard this evening,

 Mushroom C

If you can read you will see that I have a hard time being wordless even on Wordless Wednesday.

I had a batch of them pop up a few weeks ago in my herb garden.  Not that big, but bunches of them.

Must be the rain & cooler temps we have had lately that made the mushrooms grow. Tammy Lankford,

Isn't that something.  I have had that type of mushroom growing in my lawn the last few years.  They are monstrous, but don't know if they are poisonous or not.

Myrl Jeffcoat --monstrous & heavy!  Wish I knew if they were poisonous or not as we would have tasty treat if they weren't.

Good morning Mary.  If they are not on the grocery shelf I don't eat them.  Not confident at all in finding those one can eat or those who are harmful.  That is one big mushroom.  Come on just one more post and a few comments and you'll be the next millionaire.

I have a local Farmer's Market, which offers up mushrooms of varying varieties. I've not seen any sold that look like the one pictured.  But, you did give me an idea.  I should take one out of my yard over to that vendor, and see if they can identify it, and tell me if it is poisonous or not.

I often feel the mush, too. That's why I do market reports. That way I always have something to write about, and the information is there for me in the MLS. LOL. It works.
