 Wasn't Melanie the one who sang, "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates. You've got a brand new key" ? The Zombies are a great band. My favorite Zombies' song is "She's Not There". Flo & Eddie were with Frank Zappa for some time, also, back in the late seventies. I spent some time in S.F. some years ago and saw some of these musicians at the old Fillmore West. It'll be groovy, Elaine. We'll be 'hip to the jive'.

David, Melanie Safka now 61 is the artist who sang "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates. You've got a brand new key" She made her first public appearance at the age of four on the radio show Live Like A Millionaire performing the song "Gimme a Little Kiss". She was a student at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts when she began singing in the folk clubs of Greenwich Village and signed her first recording contract.

Sounds like we have a few ex hippies in the crowd...here are the tour dates for this festival:

I wish I could be there to share the good times. I remember Jonathan Edwards' fine song, "Sunshine" real well. Badfinger is a great band and were originally produced by Paul McCartney. Totally great lineup ! It'll be fun. Hope you can come to Memphis to visit Elvis' house one fine day. Thanks, Elaine.
