2016 Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze & Hayride At Lyman Orchards.

Fall has arrived and that means the leaves are turning color.  Fall is also the time of the year to visit all the area Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes, and Hayrides.  My first stop this year will be the  2016 Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze & Hayride At Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT. 

Lyman Orchards is the place to go for fresh fruit, and fresh baked pies, but Lyman Orchards also has a lot more to offer, especially in the Fall.  Lyman Orchards is located at the intersection of RT 146 and Rt 157 in Middlefield, Connecticut which makes Lyman Orchards very easy to get to from any where in the State.

Lyman Orchards In Middlefield Connecticut was first established in 1741, and is the twelfth oldest family-owned business in the United States.  Lyman Orchards consists of 1,100 acres on which they grow their own apples, peaches, pears, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and pumpkins.  At Lyman Orchards you can either pick your own fruit from June through October, or visit their store where you can purchase fruit all year round.

Lyman Orchards  has been a popular place for the whole family for many generations, not only because of its delicious fresh fruits, but also for its fantastic fresh baked pies, and baked goods.  Their "high top" apple pie, is as they say to die for.  In fact in my opinion all their pies are to die for.  My favorite at Lyman's however, is their Apple Cider Donuts which are available all year.

But as great a place as Lyman Orchards is to visit throughout the year, the best time to go to Lyman Orchards is the Fall, especially on the weekend.  In the Fall season Lyman Orchards offers everything they do throughout the year, plus a Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze & Hayrides At Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT.

I am hoping to make it to Lyman Orchards this weekend to visit their store and take a look at the new Corn Maze.  However, the weekend is usually packed with people so I will be going before it gets crazy.  Lyman Orchards has one of the largest Corn Mazes in the State so it is a very popular place for parents to take their kids.
