Even on an ordinary day with no clouds...the Grand Mesa stands out on the Delta County and Cedaredge skyline and looks beautiful. When we have clouds and weather coming in, the mesa moods change, and it can look really amazing with the clouds settling in around it.
Of course the sunrises and sunsets are also beautiful.
These pictures were taken from the south side of The Mesa looking at the West Elk Mountains.
I had more property showings in that area last night. It was a nice trip in the woods. The aspens are losing their leaves and colors, but there's still enough to make it beautiful...at least for a few more days.
I never get tired of watching the sunsets around here. The lighting can be amazing.
It's starting to get cold up there. The temperature was 41 degrees at about 6:30 last night. Snow has already fallen a few time this season, and soon it will stick around for the winter.
