Another weekend at the lake

Well Smith Mountain Lake has given us another great weekend. Two in water boat shows are drawing to an end as is the 40th Annual Optimist Club fishing tournament. On Saturday residents all over the lake came out for the annual Take pride In SML cleanup day. Every year hundreds of folks come out and pickup limbs and other thing that fall in over the winter. On sunday there was a docking clinic to instruct people on good and safe procedures for landing at the dock.                                                                                                                      

There were many other thing going on also. The point is people often ask " Is there anythingto do here? Wow you bet. As amatter of fact you just can't do it all. The thing people really love here is that you can do nothing or you can run all day every day.
