WaCanId Bike Ride and Real Estate - Day 4
Rotary sponsored WaCanId International Selkirk Loop Bicycle ride Day 4, September 15 - 2016, serves as a rest day to enjoy ourselves before finishing our trip back to Sandpoiint Idaho, 151 miles, on days 5 and 6.

With 3 of our 5 riding days behind us (220 miles) we enjoy a day off in beautiful Nelson BC. Sister City to Sandpoint Idaho the similarities are amazing. Sitting on Kootenai Lake with Mountains reaching up on both sides Nelson takes advantage of the small town feel.

The two pictures above of Nelson BC could just as easily been of Sandpoint Idaho. Both the street and lake.
I took advantage of the day by walking the streets, window shopping, and exploring some new places along the lake. Also available this year was the newly finished 'Zip Line' attraction. I must say though my favorite 'find' was the Oso Negro Cafe Coffee Shop.

And how did I relate WaCanId Day 4 to Real Estate? That's an easy one. Along the way, no matter business or personal goals, we must take a moment to rejuvinate. No matter the difficulty of any task a break to clear the head, rest the body is necessary. Also it is never good to walk the same path over and over. Change the route. Explore new avenues. The coffee shop has been in the same spot for many years and yet this is the first year I experienced it. I needed but change my walk by a couple of blocks. How many things that would be beneficial to us, in one way or another, are we missing because we are stuck in our habits and unwilling to explore?
