St Anthony's Pumpkin Patch, Prospect CT Is Now Open
The Pumpkin Patch in the parking lot of St Anthony's Church in Prospect Ct opened Saturday Oct 8, and will be open until Oct 31, Daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For Mon Oct 10, Columbus Day the patch will be open from 10 AM
The benefactors of the Pumpkin Patch is a ministry called Hope, created by St Anthony's Church to assist any Prospect resident, regardless of religious affiliation All proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch are donated directly to the Hope ministry.
The purpose of the Hope ministry is to provide financial, educational, practical and spiritual guidance to help people in need.
In addition to the pumpkin sales, there will also be:
- Hayrides
- A Bounce House
- Obstacle Course
- Crafts
- Games
- Face Painting
- Storytime
- Food and beverages
The pumpkins are supplied by a non-profit organization based in New Mexico, which provides employment to Native American Indians in need.
