2016 Surfing Madonna Beach Run is

Come one come all to the world famous Surfing Madonna Beach Run that takes place at low tide tomorrow, Saturday October 15, in the 4th ranked “Best Surfing Town in the World” (per National Geographic), Encinitas California.
Runners, joggers, walkers, crawlers, and everyone else are welcome to popular Moonlight Beach for the 4th Annual Surfing Madonna Beach Run 5K/10K/15K, reportedly the largest beach run in the US!

And if you aren’t up to a run on the beach there are plenty of ways to volunteer.
This beach run is organized by the Surfing Madonna Oceans Project non-profit and more than $200,000 have been donated to area ocean conservation projects, awareness youth education and more.
Registration is 11 – 2. The 10K and 15K start at 2:05 pm, with 5K at 2:20. There is a costume contest at 12:30 and the kids 1K will start at 1:15.
There will be a special performance by Jack Tempchin, singer and songwriter for The Eagles, on stage at 1:30.
