If you haven’t heard the news yet, I’ve launched a brand new version of my real estate planner on Kickstarter just two days ago. I’m gratified to see all the support that I’ve received thus far, and hope you will check it out. Real Estate Agents Aren’t Perfect (Rather… I’m not Perfect)

As someone who has experience in several roles in the real estate industry and as someone who has a little bit of life experience at this point, I’d say I’ve made a lot of mistakes. That’s the thing about real estate, you can be in the industry for 5, 10, 20, or even 30 years and there is still something to learn. If I had to reflect on my career thus far, I’d say that like most, I've learned from experience. What is it that Henry Ford said? “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” I’ve worked with thousands of agents and can see that many of us have the same challenges in real estate, and that’s why Pipeline Planner was born.

3 Biggest Mistakes Made by Real Estate Agents

Here are the three biggest mistakes agents make, and what can be done about fixing them.

  1. Lack of planning. In order to meet your monthly, weekly, and annual business and income goals, you need a good solid plan. You cannot just wake up in the morning, hop onto Facebook or Snapchat, and expect the buyer and seller prospects to flow in. You’ve got to have a plan.
