There is still interest in this segment of the market, but the inventory is really shrinking. We don't get the number of bank owned/foreclosure home listings in this area like we did in years past.
Two new listings have come on the market in the last month. Already one of them is under contract. - At this time there are two active listings and two that are pending a sale. List prices start off at $129,900 and go up to $195,000. The average list price is $172,475.

Even though we are seeing fewer of these homes, that doesn't mean there aren't opportunities available for buyers that are ready to purchase. To be ready a buyer must have cash available OR have already talked to a lender and been pre approved for a loan. Offers without a pre approval letter won't be considered by the sellers.
