PRESCRIPTION DRUGS & OPEN HOUSES

realtor

It's Monday morning and you are about to look over who attended your open house yesterday.  Your phone rings and it's a call from your seller telling you that there are prescription drugs missing from their home.  WOW!

Is your seller implying that you are to fault?

Did you not inform the seller about securing the drugs in a safe place?

As REALTORS we need to inform our sellers during the listing agreement to secure their home of all material and drug products that would be of value to the general public.

**Open houses are targets for prescription drugs

**Buyer asking to use the rest room allows the door to be locked and bathroom searched

Market your listing with safety for your sellers in mind.  Whether it's working with buyers or sellers keep in mind where your clients or open house lookers are located.

 Safety Safety and more Safety!!!

It is a shame that we have to warn our Seller's about this but we do. I was watching the news the other night and this story came up. Thanks for sharing I hope you have a great week ahead.
