NO ONE TOLD ME:

 

1. THAT BUYERS ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY JUST ANY PRICE TO PURCHASE A HOME Simply put, Over priced homes are not selling in this market. Yes there is a shortage of homes for sale in sale in some areas, but buyers are being frugal.

 

2. THAT SELLING MY HOME MYSELF WOULD BE SO MUCH WORK Many home sellers really want to save money when selling. They are then opting to sell themselves thinking "how hard could it be." Many of these sellers were unaware about pre-qualifications. About state and federal disclosures. About setting an asking price and that so many buyers do not show up to see the home after they took time off for work to see it. Many of these sellers then contact an agent to see what went wrong. The key is that a good listing agent can usually more than cover their fee with a quicker sale at the best obtainable sales price.

3. THAT ALL LISTING AGENTS ARE NOT THE SAME. It is actually a common mis-conception that it does not matter who a Home Seller hires as all agents are the same. This is one fact that is completely false. Selling a home should not be by trial and error. Make a wrong choice and your home may not sell. Take time and hire the best agent in your area willing to work for you.

 

4. THAT PLACING AN ONLINE AD IS NOT A SUCCESSFUL SALES PLAN. With all the new real estate sites and portals, you may think that placing an online listing will sell your home in the blink of an eye. The REAL FACTS are that selling a home in most cases takes a mix of technology and old school service to sell a home. SERVICE SELLS is something we live and work by.

 

5. WHAT IS GOOD SERVICE WHEN IT COMES TO SELLING A HOME? Many home owners who are ready to sell their home have a lot of decisions to make when listing their home. Many do not know what the difference is from one agent to another. The difference is SERVICE. Many find out what bad service is when they get left alone during the selling process. GOOD SERVICE is a mix of communication, knowledge, experience and standing by you through each step of the selling process. There is many steps in selling a home. Finding a buyer is some times the easy part. Getting the sale to close is the hard part. Knowing what comes next and what is the right way to do it can make your home selling experience a better one.

LEARN THIS ONE FACT: One should know that All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest Agent or Company.
