In August I wrote a post about Soo 735 getting a face lift. Soo 735 being an old steam engine that has been sitting as a display in the Roosevelt Park Zoo rusting away.
Today Soo 735 is a new girl. They sandblasted every inch of her, got rid of the rust and gave her a new paint job. It appears to me they may have also repaired/replaced a few items as well. With no further ado here she is.
Compare these pictures to the ones linked above from my previous post to see the quality of work done on Soo 735. On the picture above you can see a brass valve. I don't remember her having brass before but it could be that the brass was greatly tarnished or that it was added during this restoration.
