While not every buyer wants exactly the same features, what follows are some of the most frequently requested:

  • Updated Kitchens - High-end appliances, granite or quartz counter tops, the extras that make a smaller kitchen an inviting space for meal preparation or even entertaining.

  • Updated Baths - no one wants stained or out of date fixtures in their bathrooms. Newer fixtures and surfaces that are easily maintained like stone or ceramic tile are must haves for serious buyers.

  • Low Maintenance Surfaces - doesn't just apply to the bathrooms. Serious buyers want hardwood or tile floors in the main living areas. Granite or quartz counter tops throughout, although porcelain and ceramic tile are making a comeback with many re-modelers. 

  • Community Amenities - pools and spas, fitness center, computer lab, meeting room/s or community center.

  • Outdoor living space - decks and patios for barbecues and enjoying our beautiful winter weather.

  • Energy Efficiency – windows, smart home technology, well maintained mechanicals, (HVAC), etc. LED lighting, ceiling fans. While these items may not be deal breakers they are a big plus.

  • Garage – a single car is almost a necessity, a two car garage is a big plus.

  • Visitor Parking - spaces close to the residence.

  • Transit - close to public transportation, bus or light rail.

  • Walkability - good walking score for shopping, dining and entertainment.

  • Technology - excellent wireless service, satellite service and cell reception.
