Home is Where the Quote Is #1 - Laura Ingalls Wilder

I love quotes, especially inspirational quotes about perseverance and tenacity. Quotes are the discovery of the best way to strike our heart's chords and match our deepest emotions to words.

Buying a home in Beaumont? We can help.

I also equally love quotes about home considering the line of work most of us here on ActiveRain have. We place many people and families in constructs that mean nothing without the love they fill them with.

Yes that's the mushy side of the business. There's the business side of the business too, but we are dealing with the mushy side of it for right now....

I was never a fan of the TV show Little House on the Prairie. It was more my older sister's show while I enjoyed the Dukes of Hazzard (Merle Haggard still rings in my ears when I think of it). But the inspiration for Little House on the Prairie comes from Laura Ingalls Wilder who penned a  wonderfully simple quote about home:

"Home is the nicest word there is." -Laura Ingalls Wilder

I love that quote. It pegs exactly how I feel about the best address in town! Home.

I read all of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books as a child. She had a way about her which showed the emotion of her experiences. I don't remember that quote, but will now! Thank you, Todd & Devona / Garrigus Real Estate Group .

Home to me, is a place where I can be me. It can be a lot of places, as in some ways it's really a state of mind.

faye schubert you couldn't be more right! I think that speaks to what we are at our core as humans.
